The Opportunity of Generosity

Written in special gratitude to the incredible generous souls in my life who inspire me

Generosity is the dance of flourishing faith. It is the agreement with and connection to divine truth, trust in the nature of this planet’s, and this humanity’s, unity.

To be a generous person requires a certain willingness to hold space for and embody the abundance of this universe. Ultimately, it is about softly choosing to step into our birthright as vessels of divine love.

All of my life, and still plenty to this day, I have felt my programming telling me generosity and scarcity, especially with material goods, were intrinsically linked - there could be no separation between the two.

Simultaneously, I have always questioned how that can be when I could feel all the love I had to give within me. I couldn’t put these words to it then, but I felt the potential of this love to be experienced everywhere it was needed and everywhere it was called upon, regardless of scope.

And the truth is that, indeed, where there is great generosity, there is great love. And where there is great love, there is great faith. And together, between this love and this faith, there is no space for scarcity. It can’t even be part of the equation.

All that we know and are aware of and feel is driven and touched by love. The truth of our life is love.

All that we don’t know and can’t feel and aren’t aware of is touched and held by our faith. The truth of our soul is faith.

If we truly dare to move from our love, to act as generous people, there is nothing we can lose, nothing we are missing, for we have everything at our fingertips.
